ALONG THE LYCIAN COAST

HIKING ALONG THE LYCIAN COAST

The Lycian Way is one of the most beautiful long-distance hiking trails in the world. A coastal hike where you can enjoy the sea and mountains alike. The daily routes lead along paths running high above the sea, which offer you fantastic views of the coast and the peaks of the Taurus Mountains, which are up to 3,000 m high. Typical cultural landscapes can be found in the hinterland. Your path is lined with fragrant pine forests, olive groves, and Mediterranean scrub. You will walk through small, original villages and enjoy the Turkish hospitality. Today's long-distance hiking trail was used as a trade route in antiquity, which is still testified by the rich cultural heritage that you will encounter in the form of rock tombs and ancient ruined cities. Look forward to a week of hiking on the Mediterranean coast and the skirts of the Taurus Mountains with magnificent vegetation and wonderful views.
